Cookies and similar technologies
Last updated 10 October 2026
Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, let a website keep small pieces of information on your device. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), a site must ask for your consent before using them, unless they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for.
What this site uses
Very little. OSMA sets no advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no social media plugins. Our fonts and images are served from our own site, so your browser makes no requests to other companies when you visit, apart from our hosting provider, which delivers the pages.
The site keeps one item on your device: your cart.
| Name | osma_cart_v1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Browser local storage, set by this site |
| Purpose | Remembers the products in your cart as you move from page to page |
| What it holds | Product references and quantities. No name, email, address or payment details. |
| How long | Until you empty your cart or clear this site's data in your browser. It does not expire on its own. |
| Shared with | Nobody. It stays on your device. While online ordering is closed, it is never sent to us. |
| Consent | Not needed: it is strictly necessary for the cart you ask for |
Because nothing optional is stored, there is no consent banner to click through.
Our hosting provider
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., keeps technical logs to deliver and protect the site (see our Privacy Policy). If its security protection is ever triggered, for example during an attack on the site, it may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie to check that visitors are real people. It is not used for advertising or analytics.
How to clear it
- Removing every item from your cart empties it.
- To remove the stored item itself, delete this site's data in your browser settings, usually under Privacy, then Site data or Website data.
- In a private or incognito window, it is forgotten when you close the window.
If you block local storage for this site, you can still browse, but your cart will not be remembered.
If this changes
If we ever want to use other cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page first, and ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
