The piece
A clear glass drop, hung from steel and warmed by a tealight.
A thick drop of hand-blown glass hangs from a brushed steel arm, and below it a round steel base holds a tealight. Fill the glass with water, add a few drops of fragrance oil and light the flame. As the water warms, the scent lifts into the room and the glass catches the light.
Because the glass is blown by hand, it is a little thicker in places and no two are quite the same. The steel is brushed rather than polished, so it sits quietly next to wood and stone. Eight tealights come in the box. The oil is up to you.

The ritual
How to use it
- 01
Set the stand on a stable, heat-resistant surface, with the glass hanging straight.

Fill the glass with water.
- 03
Add 5 to 10 drops of fragrance oil.
- 04
Light a tealight and set it in the base, under the glass.
- 05
Top up the water as it evaporates, and blow the tealight out when you are done.

How many drops of oil should I use?
5 to 10 drops in the water. Start with five in a small room, and add a few more next time if you want the scent to carry further.
Can I change scents?
Yes. Blow out the tealight and let the glass cool completely. Pour the water away, wipe the inside with a soft cloth, then refill with fresh water and a new oil.
Which tealights does it take?
Standard tealights. Eight come in the box, and after that any unscented tealight will do, so the flame does not compete with the oil.
How do delivery and returns work?
UK delivery is a flat £3.95 per order, whatever you order. Orders are prepared in 1 to 3 working days and delivered in 5 to 9 working days. You can return any unused item within 30 days of delivery. By law you also have 14 days to cancel your order for any reason.
