About OSMA

OSMA comes from the Greek osmē, smell. A short word for a simple idea: objects that hold a scent and give it back slowly.

Twenty pieces. Two burners that warm a few drops of oil over a tea light, a cordless diffuser, a ceramic wax warmer, reed diffusers in glass with a single reed, incense cones, and the fragrance oils and melts that go with them. Each piece is a single item at a single price, with no sizes or options to choose between.

Most of what we sell involves lighting something, or switching something on, once the day is done. A tea light under glass, a cone on a marble dish, a dial turned a little further. Everything in the collection was chosen for that moment: pieces that look good on a shelf in daylight, and better once the lamps are on.

Our scents run from 00 to 07, from Signature to Palo Santo. A scent keeps its number across oils, melts, reeds and cones, so once you know yours you can find it again in any form it comes in. Not every scent comes in every form, and our scent library shows where each one lives.

Prices include import duties, so there is nothing to pay when your package arrives. Shipping is a flat $5.95 per order. The safety information for each product is written in plain English on its own page, so you can read it before you buy, and our product safety page brings it all together.

OSMA is sold mainly in Japan, on a Japanese site with prices in yen. This English site is for the United States, with prices in US dollars and shipping to all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. The objects, the scents and their numbers are the same on both.
