Scent, with something to look at
OSMA is a small collection of objects for home fragrance. A glass drop hung from a steel arm, an amber teardrop on brass, a glass vessel with a single reed. Each one holds a scent and gives it back slowly, and each one looks like something you would keep out on a shelf even with nothing in it.

Burners & Diffusers
Four objects, two with a flame and two without. The Pendant Burner and the Amber Burner warm a few drops of oil in water over a tea light. The Dial Diffuser and the Wax Warmer are flame-free, for a desk, a home office or anywhere you would rather not light a candle.

Water
Fill the glass vessel with water. A small pitcher makes it easier.

A few drops
Add 5 to 10 drops of fragrance oil. Fewer in a small room, more if you want the scent to carry.

The flame
Light a tea light and set it in the base. As the water warms, the scent rises and the glass catches the light.

How much is shipping, and how long does it take?
Shipping is a flat $5.95 per order. We prepare your order in 1 to 3 business days, then it takes 7 to 12 business days to reach you, so allow about 8 to 15 business days from order confirmation. Every order is tracked. Full details are on our shipping page.
Where do you ship?
From this site, to all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. If you live in Japan, our Japanese site sells the same collection in yen and ships within Japan: use the 日本語 link at the top of any page.
Will I pay duties or customs fees when my order arrives?
No. Import duties and customs fees are paid by us. If a carrier ever asks you for any, contact us and we will cover it in full.
Can I return something?
Yes. Unused, unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. How to start a return, and how refunds work, is explained on our returns page.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB), Apple Pay and Google Pay. They are listed again at checkout, next to your order summary.
How does the Pendant Burner work?
Fill the glass with water, add 5 to 10 drops of fragrance oil and light a tea light in the base. The flame warms the water from below and the scent rises with it. Keep water in the glass while it is lit, and never leave it burning unattended.
Which oils go with which object?
Our fragrance oils are for the Pendant Burner, the Amber Burner and the Dial Diffuser: a few drops in water for the burners, poured undiluted into the glass for the diffuser. The Wax Warmer takes our wax melts instead.
How do I look after a reed diffuser?
Remove the cap, stand the reed in the vessel and keep it out of direct sun and away from heat. Flip the reed once a week if you want more scent, over a sink or a cloth, because the liquid can mark surfaces.
How should I burn incense?
On its holder, on a heat-resistant surface, in a ventilated room but out of drafts, and away from anything that can catch fire. Light the tip, let it flame for a few seconds, blow it out, and never leave a cone burning unattended. There is more on our product safety page.
